Just looked at prices with AA from Mia this December and they are asking about 1K more than May/June. It appears for international Dec is the most expensive month to travel internationally. Will try tomorrow as Tuesday is meant to be the best time to check.

It's your call, but I wouldn't pay $10 more to fly to SXM with American. Try Jet Blue out of Ft. Lauderdale. They may have better prices, and they don't jack around their schedules as much as AA does.

Delta and AA both have been very high since they took the 737's out of commission.

The 737 aircraft is still flying. It is the 737 Max 8 that is grounded and probably will be for quite some time according to latest reports.

Delta did not have any of the 737 MAX in their fleet. AA did and that has greatly impacted schedules along with prices. Supposedly it was only 2% of their flights impacted but it sure seems to have had a dramatic effect on schedules.

Southwest had a large number of the 737 MAX in their fleet.

Any other 737 (737-700, 737-800, etc.) was not at all impacted by the grounding of the 737 MAX.

Unbelievable......looked at 9.am this morning and was the same as yesterday. looked again 1 hour ago and forgot to clear my history..went up $150.00!! just 10 minutes ago, after clearing all cookies etc...price was $200.00 cheaper. Booked. Yes Sammy, Jet Blue is much cheaper but due to wife's mobility issues, we book business class with AA, (find their wheelchair service at Miami outstanding) use the Centurion Lounge which on certain days like a Tuesday is less hectic and great drinks and food plus never had an issue with this flight but saddened to hear that others coming from farther away have been let down by AA. it is what it is.
