Still makes me nervous even after they have dropped the charges. I'm planning a trip there in about a year...now I'm really thinking it over.

I don't blame you. The whole thing is very curious to me, including the concept that the LOCALS think the bullets were planted. To me, it seems like the only explanation is that it might be a deliberate attempt to undermine tourism there. Possibly some attempt to bring down the government?? I don't know. It is very curious..

I agree very strange. I'm sure it is making a lot of people think twice about going there. We certainly would, and we've traveled to a lot of places some off the beaten track.

We're going on a cruise in December which includes T & C and I can pretty much guarantee we will not get off the ship..
