OP bspicer Traveler Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 83 Illinois	Staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort in August. Wondering what good restaurants are recommended in the area. Any we should avoid?

snmhanson Traveler S Joined: May 2010 Posts: 405 Pacific NW	Metropol for good and reasonably priced Cuban/Puerto Rican food. It is across the road from the Ritz. I also like Brother Jimmy's at the top of the El San Juan. While not traditional PR fare, it's a fun BBQ joint that has a nice view - not to mention a mechanical bull that you can ride (at least last time we were there). There are several other options, those are just two that I have eaten at before.
