Has anyone had any experience with Skyroam?

They have plans for 100 usd for 30 days unlimited. Thinking about potentially using them for our bareboat charter in December in BVI and USVI.

We are from South Africa so our normal carriers don't work there. Boat doesn't have WiFi either. In prior years we used Alglink as the boat came pre-installed with this..

Let me know if you have used it before and your experience?

I can't speak for Skyroam, but we have an unlocked phone and last year got sim cards from mrsimcard.com, one to cover USVI (where AT&T is king) and the other for the BVI. The will deliver and activate the cards to your requirements. Topping off with additional time is easily done.

The only issue was finding a tool to open the sim card slot in the phone. We discovered that a pierced earning stud worked perfectly.
