Saw some posts that the bubbly pool has been filled with sediment and the experience has been degraded...any current time experience?

Is the pool tide or swell dependent? Is there a way to find out if it’s worth the hike to it before setting off?

I would say it’s always worth the hike regardless of the sea state. Every single time! 🌴🧜♀️🐠

If by degraded you mean a major hurricane removed all of the shade trees around the perimeter and changed the look and feel, you would be correct. It is certainly a different experience than Pre Irma. Photo from one of recent visits in 2019. My morning walk quite often ends up at the Bubbly if I am not feeling the walk UP to the spine of Jost. Looks like the Bubbly pool lost a boulder or two.
