This was our first time being on the boat for 3 weeks. It was wonderful!! Used AA, Cape Air from DFW to EIS. Arrived with 0 out of 4 bags in EIS. 2 were polar bear coolers. No worries, they were delivered to Scrub Island later that night. We stayed there for the first night and started our charter on 10/9. We chartered with TMM, a Lagoon 450, Cool Change. 8th time to the islands, 4th time with TMM, 3rd time with Cool Change.

Just my hubs and I the first week which was awesome. We had very little wind that week so we motored, snorkeled, relaxed. Visited the usual places and they were quiet. We were the only ones in a few spots, loved that. We happened to be at Leverick the night that the Moorings Regatta was there. That was fun to watch!!

Second week our son and wife and nephew and wife joined us. All in their 30’s. We old timers (60ish) kept up with them. We visited Soggy one day for Painkillers, Hendo’s for lunch (our favorite place to eat on JVD), Willie T’s for happy hour and then burgers, Leverick, met Rebecca and her cute daughter. They are making some great improvements. The wind was excellent the second week and we sailed every day. We went to Anegada for the first time. Rented a truck and snorkeled.

Third week was just the 2 of us again. Hell, we needed time to recover. The rain picked up a little but the wind was great still. We were able to visit Cooper Island on Sunday of their opening weekend. So good, great food, even better drinks. And service with a smile

Our trip was wonderful. We met some amazing people! The Islands still need a lot of work. The reefs are still a little brown and the fish are not as colorful as a few years ago.
We keep coming back to TMM because the company never fails us. We had a problem with the engines and had to run them extra time for the charge each day. TMM offered to pay for our entire diesel bill, $900.00. The owner of Cool Change is a great guy and very helpful also.
