Heard they are relocating to a new location???

Where?

I don't know where he is relocating... Maybe near his rum factory?

Supposedly the land where he is now located is owned by PDP, which is who just bought the former cinema/Booze It Up building and they have bigger plans.

Any facts to this or just hearsay?

As the island goes, who knows but it was from a local source who has had business interests on the island. There appeared to be some land clearing going on in the area around Topper's when I was just on the island.

i remember years ago when Toppers opened up....I was talking to Topper himself..and am pretty sure that he told me that the land that his establishment is on is owned by HIM. The previous establishment there was called Banana's?? but Topper had them leave, because he wanted to open up his own place. This goes back now many years..

The previous place was called Bananas. I think Bananas ceased to exist for other reasons from what I understand. The couple who ran it went to Anguilla and supposedly started a restaurant there. Not sure of the ownership of the land but I was told by another long time business owner very recently owner PDP owned it. There are some local sources I trust as far as information and some I do not.

Agree. My local friends say Topper does not own that property, it's a lease. The folks that owned Bananas ran off and left their employees unpaid.

Yep, you got that right. One of them is still hanging around and has done quite well.

The food at Bananas was much better than at Topper's. I knew the owners had departed for Anguilla. Sorry to hear they may have mistreated their employees.

The murder of Mike and Thelma still haunts me today and the fact the animal who murdered them worked at Toppers for 4 months... It is fitting that Ocean Club was demolished and Toppers has lost his lease?

Does Topper have any interest in this company? Before the murders I thought Topper was going into business with the Kings.

Not sure why you are glad topper supposedly is losing his lease and ocean club being demolished. I wouldn't which that on anybody. Pretty insensitive in my book.

I would like to retract the post Toppers relocating. The error was made from a conversion with someone in the know.
I completely retract the false information and apologize for the mistake.

Always good to get it first hand from the owner before posting something second hand.
