I just look at the news paper and what I got out of it is that until the bridge loan 21 million is repaired nothing will be done at the airport . I sure hope I read it wrong .

Not sure if you're referring to the story below or not, but this story does give me some thought that the SXM government is once again screwing around with the airport. Daily Herald story

Yes it looks like some people aren’t going to get there pay off and are going to make it hard for the airport to be finished . I was for the there independence, but it looks like it was a huge mistake ,more like a Banana Republic . The money is there to bad for the people of SXM there jobs and lively hood , because of a few selfish POLITICIANS,who by the way still get paid . I have been a loyal visitor for over 35 years I brought my 3 daughters and there husbands last year they fell in love with SXM who knows what will happen in the next few years .
