Thanks for the report and the pics! Lots of boats out there!! Was it crowded at the grocery store, or there was lots of traffic getting there?

Traffic was light. Parking lot filled+. Store didn't seem that crowded. All checkers working.
Next SXM visit -November 2023. Also January 2024.

Good informative link. I would think fresh local caught fish available at markets would be more suspect while most served in restaurants are imported and fresh or flash frozen. Deep caught aren't as suspect. If not certain of where caught I would steer clear. I hope you're right about that. I had planned to eat a lot of fish on our next trip but now not so sure. I'm limited to certain fishes as it is due to a bout of scombroid poisoning from fresh tuna so doc says no thick skinned fish.

That's why you have to get to the fish markets early! I would be very careful to find out where the fish was caught if buying locally caught fish.
