Never been to Cancun and have a chance to go. Wondering if anyone has stayed here. What is it like. How are the restaurants, Is it near anything. Do you have to stay on the resort? Is the area safe?

It's Vegas with a beach.
There is a range of food offerings. You will find everything from Ruths Chris to MacDonalds.
Cancun City is safer than Orlando.
Is it near anything? It's near the Caribbean, there are Archeological Sites nearby and you can get a fishing trip.
What are you specifically looking for?

I didn't know if it was isolated that's what I meant by near anything but you have definitely answered my questions. All I really need is a beach! Thanks for the feedback
