Just had a great weekend on our sister island of Barbuda. Stayed at my friend's place North Beach. It now has 6 cottages on the property. I stayed in one of the two newest ones cottage #5. Flying into Barbuda, Palmetto Point, home of the now closed Beach House Hotel, real shame. Flying over the lagoon to the right and Low Bay to the left. On the approach to North Beach, from the lagoon out to the open sea. Will follow woth some more later

Stunning views from the windows, but looks to be no a/c? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Smile.gif" alt="" /> Is that carpet on the floor?

I was surprised there would be carpet in a place on the beach. As far as a/c, I'm a wuss. I need it to sleep...

Ok I just added another place I must see!
I looked on the North Beach web site and I noticed it is all inclusive. You said your visiting your friend, so you may not have used the all inclusive but I would be interested if you did. Any comments on the food and beverage side of your visit?
and I love your photos!

I did the cooking while I was there as a favour. The owner normally does it. The food is very good with an abundance of lobster. Plenty of drinks you can just help yourself. It' very very laid back. You can only get to it by boat or helicopter. It as to be AI as there is nothing at all there. I started a Facebook page for them called North Beach Cottages https://www.facebook.com/NorthBeachCottages?ref=hl
