Uneventful flights AA LAX-MIA-STT, we were met by one of kevin’s Associates and went directly to the CA Terminal only to learn the only ferry would be a 4:30 to Road Town.
Jammed around the back alleys and over the hill to Red hook and caught the 3:30 to West End, Bert and GlennA can make the 5:00. Nice cold ones at the bar, super friendly bartenders!
C&I was a breeze as only about 9 people getting off at WE. Jerry was waiting for us, got our Suzuki and straight to Big Apple villa. Doubled back to pick up Bert and Glenn, we all went to dinner at Cruzin’ along with Mal and Candace, what a great time, wonderful food, service and peeps!

Was scheduled to volunteer at the Fix it clinic, cook lunch for the Vetrinary teams, got a call that the Gov. squashed the whole thing, bummer! Met the Teams at Banakeet for my Birthday dinner, wonderful sunset, Reuben playing and great Company. Ninja was our server again, excellent food and service!
A lazy day at Big Apple the girls kayaked and we just chilled, planned a quiet dinner on the patio but ended with the neighborhood joining in, Scotty and hubby from next door, Mal, Candace and Glenn!
Early check out as guests were arriving Big Apple up and down, headed over to Cane Garden for a Bloody Mary at Myett’s followed by a full breakfast at Rhymers, The beach scene reminded us of après apocalypse, only a few people around, was very different than normal. Headed over to Sopers and got the gear unloaded and put away on Galeaux, Doug was aboard as he was down with his group aboard for 2 weeks prior. Riteway delivered our provisions, all spot on except the Hormel chili, replaced with several cans of chili peppers, LOL!
Dinghied over to Fish N Lime, much of the gang arriving and Brian Neale already playing, Dorna from Royal Concierge joined us, lovey Lady. Beautiful surroundings, great music, excellent food, service and peeps, what a great night!
Up and out around 10:00 AM, off to Leverick Bay, motor sailed up to almost Salt Island and then deployed the headsail and had a nice sail from there, MOB drill near Great Dog to retrieve GlennA’s new Tilly hat, snagged it on the first try! Went through the cut and arrived at slip 7 at Leverick Bay, the welcoming committee was waiting for us! Got settled then was way over served at AskNick.Co, never made it to Jumbies Bar until dinner time! Rum and poontang was the drink of the day, makes one a wide awake drunk! Nice dinner and off to bed in the wonderful AC!
Dinghy Poker Run! While the numbers were down this year the fun factor was not, Leverick Bay always comes to the plate and hosts a wonderful event! We had 26 hands, off by 500 from last year but still raised over $1,300 for Animal rescue on Virgin Gorda. Antiles helicopter Services kicked off the run and photographed the first leg to Sandbox, we continued to Saba Rock, bitter End and Fat Virgin with ambushes and water canon exchange all along the way. Thank you to all the host establishments! A great awards presentation, again, congrats Catatonic! Music by Brian Neale, fire dancers and a wonderful BBQ buffet followed. Much dancing and a great time was had by all! Thank you Leverick Bay and all the Sponsors!

De Anegada Lobsta Regatta! Again, the numbers were down but the race was a blast! Galeaux needed a little more breeze to pick up her heels and catch the fleet with the handicapped start times, we were closing at the end but need some more breeze and maybe a couple more miles, a clean bottomside would have also helped but we did smoke the other Voyage 500 that started with us. We had glenn A, Brian Neale, wife Annie and Brian’s gear aboard for the ride, great people! Galeaux owner Doug performed flawless crew work while letting the guest Skipper take the helm. Congrats Catatonic on a sweeping win, even with ringer, David, Dirk’s dad, a bigtime offshore racer aboard, they were quick! Fun happy hour and awards at Neptune’s Treasure followed by a very nice dinner, great job everyone at Neptunes!

Cow Wreck Beach day!: A fun, lazy day at Cow Wreck, Kittytonic even came around towing the tube and made some passes with the kids in tow, Dirk rocks! The food and drink were great and the beach returned about 70% from where it was. Got some kite shots and enjoyed a lazy day. Brian Neale played again at Anegada Reef, great times, food and service! Belle and the gang were gracious and wonderful as always!
Up and breakfast at Neptunes, bought some bread and baked goods then off for a nice sail to Scrub Island. Caught a small Barry on one of the trolled Ballyhoos, released and had another hard hit on the other line but lost it. Docked up at Scrub and enjoyed the pool and a few drinks. The cocktail competition kinda fizzled but Catatonic did an entry so I threw together a rum drink using Peach juice, Ting and other secret ingredients, called it the Orangatang, they loved it but the presentation of Catatonic won it for them. Great buffet dinner upstairs with a TTOL 20% discount, thanks Martin!
