Today was pretty much the same as yesterday. After an early morning rain shower, the clouds cleared a bit and the sun made its presence known. As we packed our beach stuff we noticed that the beach was coming alive and the people were beginning to turn out.

So we started off on our daily trek from our Mont Vernon studio down to the beach at Club Orient. The sun was warm, the winds calmer that the day before. So with the surf washing around our feet we set off for the first half of our daily walk along the long crescent that is Orient Beach.

We made a slight deviation from our planned course this morning into the village and the little bakery that is there to indulge ourselves in one of our favorite “Island Breakfast Foods” -- Chocolate Croissants. With the breakfast staple in hand, we continued to our planned rendezvous with two beach chairs and an umbrella.

After setting up camp for the day, and eating our “Island Breakfast Food” we settled into our routine: Bask in the sun, cool off in the surf, drink a beer or two, or three, or… Well, you get the picture.

Finally, after a hard day of battling Sand Gravity, we set off on the second leg of our daily trek, and returned to our studio, where we washed off the salt and sand from a hard day fighting sand gravity.

Before dinner Diana and I went on a photo walk around the Mont Vernon property and shot several photos. Here are some of my favorites:
