Hi all,
We have finally returned from a fantastic vacation in the BVI and wanted to share with you some of our pictures.
The best advice we can give for those of you going on your next trip:
1)Pack lightly! We did not check any bags, just our carryon suitcases and our snorkel gear. This helped tremendously going thru customs. No problem mon! (It can be done and we were there a week.)
2)Carry your own snorkel gear. We could snorkel where we wanted and when we wanted.
3)Get the Drinking Man's Guide to the BVI! This made it an adventure when we went out, making sure we hit some of the spots noted in this guide. (Free Drinks! )
4)Go to Anegada! Loblolly Bay and Cow Wreck Beach!
5)Go to Jost Van Dyke (Foxy's, Ivan's and Soggy Dollar)
6)Find Smuggler's Cove, regardless of the road condition. It is worth the effort!
7)If you get in the mood for pizza, Jolly Roger Inn has great pizza!
8)Bring bug spray and lots of suntan lotion.
9)Drink everybody's Pain Killers and compare to see who has the best!
10)If you are land based, take a full day sail and snorkel (We had a great time on Patouche Charters)
11)Go to Virgin Gorda and snorkel The Baths
12)Bring back some Pusser's Rum.
13)If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, we enjoyed staying at Ft. Recovery on the West End of Tortola.
14)Rent a jeep and explore!
15)Try to meet up with some other TTOL'ers
(We enjoyed meeting Karen and Stan!)
16)AND most of all,,,,,,,,,,Relax!!!!!

We had so much fun we are planning on spending two weeks in the BVI next December.
