We have friends who are going to St. Maarten on the Dutch side who will have a rental car. Does anyone know what restaurants or attractions will be open on the Dutch side August 2–12? They have done their testing, filed their results online, and will bring a print copy.

Thank you for any help.

Can you find out what type of test they took that did not have the Emergency Use Authorization printed on the results?

I have been watching the The Daily Herald so advised the they needed tests. They took their test early this week as one works at a hospital.

Hope they have proper test report and proof of medical insurance too. Or what ever Gov desides to implement between now and then.

Doug--as Lesley said, most Dutch side businesses are open. Please do post here once they arrive safely, as things seem to be such a crap shoot these days.

FYI - The University of Wisconsin Health clinic started a Covid testing program yesterday out side their building having people spit into a test tube and had the results in about three hours. This will be great if this can be done on a mass scale.

Wow, sounds good to me--we were fans of Taco Macho and heard that has closed. I hope they do well and we'll definitely give it a try if we get a chance to travel in October.

Yes Taco Macho got completely broken down and I have heard that his Taco is very good. It's him and his girlfriend that's a qualified Chef.

We spoke to our friends today. They had the correct test and got the results in 2 hours. Submitted their results online and received an email back from the government almost instantly.

The took their test at a local urgent care chain which was fully paid for by government or insurance. No cost.

Their flight is tomorrow so everything is going good so far.

Update:

Nowhere Special is offering free food to those in need. They could use donations as well.
