This just in from Westjet. It's a great step in the right direction to spur confidence in booking... I reserve comment on the various other travel requirements, both outbound and inbound.
"As we continue to put your Safety Above All, we’re introducing no-charge COVID-19 travel insurance coverage through a new partner, TuGo ® to provide you with peace of mind, so you can love where you’re going. Starting September 18, 2020, coverage will be included on eligible new WestJet flights or WestJet Vacations package bookings to Mexico, the Caribbean (excluding the U.S.), Europe and the UK for travel until August 31, 2021"

Let's hope Westjet sets the stage for more innovation in the travel industry.
Just read about this it seems to cover all the bases up to a limit of course. Also I see Air Canada is offering Covid insurance as well. This offers piece of mind for Covid related needs for free but I would think that you would still need your regular travel insurance policy for everything else. Agreed it is a step in the right direction to give me hope that a winter vacation could still be on the horizon.
