It certainly COULD be an issue, but the latest guidance has it degenerating into a depression before reaching the islands. Let's hope that guidance is correct!

Meanwhile the Texas Gulf Coast is looking at a Harvey-like system that is going to meander along the coast for about 3-4 days. Here's to hoping it stays mostly offshore as projected. Three years ago we had 32" of rain at our house in 3 days which isn't something we care to repeat.

What a strange year it's been.

I am not sure hanging offshore is a good outcome. Might be better if it went inland. It’s going to dump a ton of rain on the projected track.

Looks like Wilfred petered out! Don't see him on the Hurricane map anymore.
Maybe now part of the thunderstorms and rain heading towards Cuba?
