Hello - it has been several years since we visited SXM. Has anyone seen the progress on Mont Vernon - Orient? Have they begun work on the pool? Thank you.

Not sure about nothing is done. I can’t post my photos right now but we walked down there last Feb (we used to stay there) to observe the progress and I would say much has been done since then-especially with regard to the exterior of the units.

Work was being done on the roofs of several buildings yesterday. Pool does not seem to have been touched.

Wow, good to know that repairs are still being done, but so sad that it is taking so long!!! It was once a 4 star resort!

It's been a LONG time since Mont Vernon was a 4 star resort, if ever. The whole area went into quite a state of disrepair before it went condo, and then people like Thibault and Amaury bought up a bunch of the units and renovated them and upgraded the area. Even pre-Irma though, many people complained about the parking lots, etc.
