I am looking for a winter getaway and I was wondering if anyone had been to Mak Nuk Village in Tulum, Mexico. According to an article in the Summer 2013 N Magazine, it is a CO Condo hotel that opened in September.

Has anyone been there? What is is like?

Please do a SEARCH and put in "Mak Nuk" (make sure you put in the quotes) and use a date range of 2 years, searching in the Nude forum, and you will find several references.

We were there last March for a pre-opening stay. You can find a link to our trip report by following Carol's advice. We are headed back there in three weeks for a second visit, and I plan to report on that trip as well. Feel free to PM me for any specific questions that the report doesn't address.

We haven't been there, but met the owners at the Nudist Expo in 2012 (they had a booth 2 booths down from us). They seem like really nice folks who are trying to make a go of their little resort. We've intended to give it a try, but haven't carved out the time to go down there yet. I believe it is all modern and comfortable, according to what they told us. Also a work in progress for selling their condos. I'm jealous you are going down...enjoy the sunshine!

Enjoy the Sunshine!

Hi BruceS. I just saw your post and was wondering if you had a chance to make your getaway? I am an owner of Mak Nuk Village and thought I would update you in case you haven't made it yet. Yes, we have been having a soft opening. We still have a lot planned for the future but we're in full swing now. We don't have our restaurant open yet but there's a lot of restaurants within walking distance. We also have a shuttle for trips to our beach club and to the grocery. All is very close. I suggest checking out Trip Advisor for the latest trip reports. Also MakNukVillage.com and facebook.com/maknukvillage. Hope you get to come see us and if you already have, we would love to get your feedback. Thanks for your interest. --BJS

When I could not get any current information on Mak Nuk Village, I decided to go back to N Resort this year. Maybe next year for Mak Nuk.

I hadn't heard about this resort prior to reading this thread. Looks fantastic. Great website with inviting pictures. I think I'll put this on our list. As compared to N just in facilities alone, Mak Nuk looks like the Taj Mahal.

Mak Nuk is not a Lifestyle resort; PDS is not allowed with the exception of a whole resort takeover such as what is occurring this week with the Exotic Travel Services takeover.
