Daily Herald editorial

I referred to this in the other thread, but may get lost, so thought I would start a new thread. According to the above editorial, it looks like they think that once SXM residents are vaccinated, they may not require a pre-test for entry to SXM, if the traveler has been vaccinated??

"Traffic between them can normalise once most of each population has received their shots, in St. Maarten supposedly by June 1. At the same time, vaccinated visitors from abroad would probably not require pre-departure testing anymore when vacationing in these destinations."

That would be really good news.

...UNLESS they are talking about just travel between the Dutch islands??

Yes. The travel from abroad isn't really clear to me either. Would be nice if it was from all countries with vaccinations. Won't help with our May trip.

Scheduled to get my 2nd Moderna vaccine on Mar 6, and hope to then schedule my next visit to Mary's Boon. Miss things after having been there so often.
