Does anyone have any experience staying in Calypso Villa on VG? It's in the Valley. It looks very nice. Sounds like it gets windy there and noisy at night from the wind. Any help appreciated!

Don’t know the Villa. You absolutely want Eastern Exposure to the trade winds and if they are brisk they make some noise. The alternative is HOT. Some nights the winds off the Atlantic hit just right that it sounds like a howling blizzard outside our bedroom . Bigger issue the cooling winds make it difficult to keep things anchored on table while dining outside, but it’s a good thing. The wind noise has not been a problem for anyone I’ve heard from. . I would not think there would be a lot of night time traffic out by Crooks bay.

And anywhere in the BVI, wind is what keeps the bugs away. Mosquitos will always be worst at a sheltered seaside property.
