The CDC has ruled that fully vaccinated people can travel "within the US" without a negative Covid test. Does this include the USVI's and, if not, what is currently required and..any chance of that changing? Thanks..We will be en route to our home on the BVI's and have to deal with that..but will be spending a couple of days on STT.

Well, actually, the CDC can only do RECOMMENDATIONS. They are NOT binding on any local government.

I doubt it will change the USVI requirements, at least not in the near future. Current requirements here: https://usvitravelportal.com/

I don't think our Governor will be relaxing the testing requirements soon -- we have been seeing forged results already so adding vaccinations to that list is probably not happening soon. https://stthomassource.com/content/...eing-uploaded-to-covid-19-travel-portal/Glad to hear you are finally heading down despite all the hoops! Maybe see you for a drink

We were talking about this last night. The USVI government has followed the CDC recommendations in general. The consensus around the dinner table that the COVID test requirement would be dropped for travelers with the vaccine by June. We'll see how that goes. It would be nice, but there is a COVID testing center a short walk from my office that is free with medical insurance. I'll be using that service in April and May, unless the protocol changes.
