Since both doses contain the same amount of medicine, this action is okay just as long as supplies for a second dose don't run short within a six-week time frame.

We already have all of our doses on island, enough to vaccinate all residents.

That's outstanding. So may other countries are lagging behind in that area. All the more reason for SXM to open their borders to international travelers this summer and bring back robust tourism!

So true, but presently a lot of hoops you have to jump thru. Will be so much better if you can just pull out you 'CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Card' to get through customs and immigration, and then show it again to get back into the states and/or Canada.
