We had a wonderful long BVI weekend and due to pressure from the Hills, here is my report...

FOOD!
Foxy's Taboo at Diamond Cay- Had a great lunch, especially the curried chicken banana soup. The dock looks just as it did last fall or winter when it was unfinished, still unfinished!
Saba Rock- Usually we have the buffet, but didn't feel like it. The prix fixe menu was wonderful, although expensive- $35. I had delicious seared ahi tuna with wasabi and my spousal unit had a terrific steak. Our guest ordered off the pub menu and was pleased with his tacos...Really good! Favorite line from a woman off a charter yacht- "Oh, good, a store...and it's open!!"
Neptune's Treasure- We love family dining at Neptune's. The portions are HUGE! - 1/2 a chicken, what must have been 12 or more oz of fish (tuna, shark, swordfish). Our guest said it was the best fish he had ever had, but surely that is the magic of Anegada...
Cow Wreck- had a great conch lunch and viewed the TTOL flag. Thought about you Kimmers!!!!
Big Bamboo- Can't beat their lobster and ribs, but with lunch like this, it makes it hard to want to eat dinner!!! This was the busiest place in Anegada- my favorite line as a group of day trippers got out of Tony's van, "Well, what are we going to do here?" Hmm. if you have to ask...

ACCOMODATIONS
Saba Rock- This is a great place to get off the boat and relax. We stayed in the Boat House which is on the far side of the rock, looking over Prickly Pear and Eustatia. Very quiet, comfy bed, complimentary bottle of Saba Rock Rum. Saba Rock is very conveniently located in North Sound and the ferry will take you to the Bitter End, Leverick Bay, etc. I could sit in the garden with a book and read for a good long while.
Neptune's Treasure: Again, we love it. Cool breezes and hot showers...A fridge in the room. Our guest, who enjoys fishing, enjoyed talking with Vernon Soares about his fishing life. Randall and Linda are Randall and Linda!

Activities:
There was a swell and bad rip current, no snorkeling, but we walked the beaches and beach combed, visited the iguanas and the conch pile, watched the green Anegada clouds, even had a little needed rain Saturday evening. Everyone commented on the huge number of Century plants. Local lore has it that lots of Century plants means no hurricanes...I hope so! The orchids were also plentiful- could it be because of the November rain?? As a St Thomian friend told me... "When people ask 'What do you do in Anegada?', I say- 'Nothing'. Then they ask, 'Can I go with you the next time you go?' And I say, 'No, you wouldn't like it, there's nothing to do". Lots of nothing....

The ride up was very smooth, the swell had come up, so the ride back was a little bumpy, but not bad. A wonderful time was had by all...
