How about a diversion from Covid worries for a sec? We've always been to the BVI in Winter. Here, now...these dang bugs!...does it pay to move farther out from shore in the mooring field? We saw a cat do that yesterday, we stayed put and got eaten up. Word to the wise: the essence of Off doesnt go with a Cab.

A stiff breeze blows the mosquitoes away. If there has been rain and it's calm, you'll have bugs. If the Christmas winds are blowing, there's no problem. Dusk is bad, as are some shorelines. Anchor where there's more breeze and less shrubbery.

I never take a Mooring close to shore if I have a choice. Move out and the bugs will be far fewer and if that helps pick up a breeze they will be zero.
