Can we use regular travel insurance for BVI entry or must we use one of the Covid insurance policies offered through the charter companies?

I bought the coverage offered by the charter company but I don't believe it's required if you have a letter from your insurance carrier stating you have international coverage with them. The policy I bought covers alot more than just the health piece.

We got the extra travel insurance for our trip last December from Travel Safe Insurance. It cost about $70pp for 20 days.
