Lots of good suggestions there, but number one should be preventing people from parking on sidewalks!!!! Fallout from Emmanuel's bright move to remove the parking bollards, which allowed everyone to park on the sidewalk..

Yes, opening up the sidewalks would be a great start by getting the cars off the sidewalks. But, they'll need somewhere for those cars to park. So, construction of a parking ramp would probably be the right move. Next, I would suggest restricting aggressive merchants who constantly try to pressure you to come into their stores, especially the jewelry stores. It's okay to hand out a flier, but leave it at that. And, finally, increased and improved lighting on the boardwalk would be a welcome addition. Gets really dark walking down there in the evenings.

How about a shuttle bus system from a distant parking lot? Drop off area behind Courthouse?

Some of the restaurants that serve dinner have been considering a shuttle from Bobby's Marina to places on the boardwalk.
