I've just spun my wheels for hours but have figured this out and wanted to share. There are two kinds of Antibody tests 1) nasal swab and 2) finger draw (blood). Both can be used for entering the USVI's. The nasal swab can to be done no more than 5 days before travel but the blood draw is good for 4 months. CVS has just started doing the blood raw. You must have a CVS MyChart set-up. Then make an appointment at cvs.com/rxantibody. The key is having the MyChart account already set. The pharmacist drew the blood (barely a speck!). 10 minutes later, the test confirmed I had antibodies. The pharmacist entered into MyChart and the report was immediately available for printing to submit to the portal. This will keep us from having to spend a couple hours on Virgin Gorda next week testing for our return!! Oh, and it was $38 self-pay only! I hope this helps someone!!

Should edit to say:

"Both can be used for entering the USVI by sea from a foreign country (e.g., BVI)."

Entry to USVI by air from a foreign country still must abide by the CDC requirements. While the CDC Requirements now permit some forms of self-testing (i.e., eMed.com) they do not (yet) accept the antibody tests. Stay tuned as it could change.

In our area LabCorp sites will do the antibody (blood) test for about $10 with results in two to three hours.

Thank you xrayman67!!!! You are the reason I started digging into this today!!!

ECM56, am I missing something??? I've checked with Dolphin Water Taxi & read & reread the USVI Portal so if I'm wrong, please let me know! Wish I'd known about this before today! I have long distance $$ phone calls to make the appointments for return testing on VG and filled the paperwork out for all six of us...twice...because I was afraid my handwriting was too messy and I wanted to avoid any complications. So to figure out today that we can avoid all that fun at the VG clinic is great news.

"Every traveler aged five or older who enters the U.S. Virgin Islands by air or sea, including anyone in-transit to another destination, is required to use the USVI Travel Screening Portal AND to submit a COVID-19 test result prior to travel."

"a COVID-19 antigen (rapid) test from a nasal or throat swab sample taken and NEGATIVE result received (both within five days of commencement of travel to the Territory)

OR

a COVID-19 antibody (rapid) finger stick or blood draw test taken and POSITIVE result received (both within four months of commencement of travel to the Territory)"

See the paragraph highlighted in orange. This section is applicable only to entry by air from a foreign country.

If you are coming back with Dolphin, I believe you will be arriving in the USVI by sea from a foreign country - so the CDC requirements do not apply to you. I was just suggesting you revise your statement (which is not correct) to avoid confusing others who may read it.

The USVI travel portal will happily accept results from the $38 CVS antibody test to permit entry from outside the USVI. Just print/export out the entire report from MyCharts into a pdf. And upload the file to the web site. We did it several months ago and received the green QR code within a few hours of submitting it.
