We just got back from a Canada/New England cruise. Portland was one of our ports of call.

We had lunch at the Dry Dock Restaurant. It is near the water front (no view and not fancy). We had the best New England clam chowder that either one of us has ever had, and of course, lobster rolls. They were very good, but not that different from some others we had.

My grandfather was from New England so have lot of clam chowder to compare it to.

Cool swg.

We loved Portland. We had dinner Saturday night at Dimillio's on the Water and did lobster stuff. Boston was clam chowder and Portland was lobster hah.
