Not exactly a world problem, but I am experiencing stress about appointments prior to my departure on the 27th. I am making appointments for hair, nails, pet drop-off, and other errands yada yada yada. Then I want to schedule both an ID NOW and a BinaxNOW test as back-up, which I can't do until a few days out. By that time, the schedules of my other service providers will be less flexible if I need to rearrange them depending on the test appointments I can get. So I'm feeling some stress about the process. I assume it will ultimately work out, but that doesn't stop the stress from building up. I am sure five weeks on the island will make the stress a distant memory.

OK I'll stop whining now. Thanks for listening.

Travel/vacation should NOT be like this.

Good luck.

Linda--I get you. I was really worried about scheduling just our Covid tests before we went down, because testing appointments were not available until about two weeks before we left. Then they kind of eased up. But this past trip, it was all the OTHER crap that I had to get done at the office that was really stressing out over, before the trip. I had several cases I wanted to get filed, but was waiting on "this" from another attorney or waiting on "that" to be actually stamped "filed" by the Court, so I could submit the Order. Everyone has all their individual things that have to get done in order to go on vacation, and having to get Covid tests on top of all of that just adds one more level of stress.. Life in 2021.....

Linda, I understand! hairy

Our summer has been filled with appointments and worries, but now it should all
go away for a while in SXM.

Relax.......

Once you get to the island again, stretch out on the chaise on the beach, you will forget about all the bull it took to get there!!!

I agree it is very stressful. In spite of all the struggles, I am sure you will be fine once you get there. But totally understand your angst. You are an experienced traveler and will be relaxing soon in SXM. Safe travels and perhaps we may bump into you during our stay, 10/16 to10/30.

Linda, I totally understand. That is the reason I have decided to wait for a few months and hope that travel becomes easier without all the restrictions in place now. Getting ready for vacation and preparing for your return home should not be stressful. Hope it all works out for you.

Problem is I don't see the restrictions easing in the near future.
