People hoarding is one problem with small retailers dealing with empty shelves but there is a real supply chain issue.
I did not see empty shelves at Walmart yesterday but my largest local supermarket was sadly lacking frozen foods.
I am not cooking a Turkey this Thanksgiving but bought a nice fresh ham for the holiday.
