Looking for a hotel that is walkable at best or tiny drive at worst. Must be clean, safe at a minimum. Must be able to park car. Anything else gravy. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />

Try The Daddy O Hotel on the island behind Bal Harbor Mall. Great boutique hotel, parking is metered between 8 am and 6 pm but fee at other times. Depending on the time of the year and how far in advance you make your reservations, it can be a low as $109 per night. Another option is book a room, a condo, or a home in the area on www.airbnb.com. We booked a house with a private pool on Memorial day for $200 per night.
