Hello, is there any special rules if we want to visit Anguilla, St.Barts or Saba while vacationing on SXM? Like test to get in and out or return etc…

KGB,
Rules for each island are different, and might change at any time, especially in light of the fast-developing Omicron variant story. You'll need to research the rules for each island.

A couple of weeks ago, we made a 4-day trip from St. Maarten to St. Barts, traveling by ferry, round-trip from Philipsburg. No Covid test required in either direction -- just proof of vaccination.

Yes, agreed, rules are changing every day. I actually don't think you could do a day trip to Anguilla, still, even before the new variant.

Oh really? Wow, so it is off limits completely? There used to be a ferry going between Marigot and Anguilla….

As I said, I THINK you can no longer do a day trip to Anguilla. You can go there, but I THINK you still have to isolate for a week once you get there?? Anguilla was totally closed to visitors for a very long time and I think you cannot do a day trip now.

Thanks Carol, I guess we will have to play it by ear once we are on the sxm. Never knew that Ang. was closed.

$50 USD fee for testing on arrival
You will be tested upon arrival. You must remain in place until the receipt of your negative arrival test result (~24 hours).
If your test is negative, there is no requirement to quarantine. However, returning residents and visitors staying in Anguilla for more than 8 days may be required to undertake a day 4 test.
