Heading to JVD end of January. I am trying to sort out my options to get there. Plane lands @ 2:15 in STT
Please correct me if I’m wrong with my assumptions.
My normal water taxi guy says we have to clear immigration in West End by 4:00 before proceeding to JVD. No immigration on JVD yet. He says it’s really pushing it to make WE by 4:00 with the water taxi. If we miss 4:00 we have to water taxi up to Roadtown, which is not desirable at all.
There is no late day ferry that stops at West End, it goes directly to Roadtown, which does not allow me enough time to taxi to WE to catch the 6:00 ferry to JVD.
If I have this right, it sounds like I’ll be spending the nite on Tortola.
Any input is appreciated.

Inter Island Boat Services just announced a couple of days ago that they are resuming service between USVI and JVD. Watch their FB page for details or you could try calling.
