I know that parties involved in the Webster property dispute have been talking recently and that a request has been made for the Minister of Justice from France to intervene. My question is: are there any protests underway now or planned for the weekend or have they all agreed to put them on hold until a meeting has been held.

We arrive tomorrow and just want to be able to plan our travel route to the French side (where we are staying).

I have already passed today's paper on to someone else, but from what I remember, there was an article this morning asking for both Dutch and French residents to support a protest tomorrow from 10 am to 10 pm at the Cadisco gas station.

Mikel--The protest is supposed to be SUNDAY, not Saturday, according to the Daily Herald.

But a protest doesn't automatically mean a road closure. I'd wait and see, but if you have to go through French Quarter, it's not bad.

I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

Sorry for the confusion, but that's what I get for trying to remember what I read 5 or 6 hours ago.

No problem. I didn't see the story earlier as it is only in the full edition, not in the online one.
