we got off to rocky start arriving Jan 9 th airtransat with 30 passengers & received email on 13 th saying they regret to inform us they weren't coming back for us. We suspected this could happen & we knew WestJet was still going twice a week also we could go Delta to Atlanta then home. WestJet brought us home. We will be flying westjet from now on. We liked airtransat hours better. Gus was waiting on arrival at airport to take us to his Mon Reve (my dream) Guest House. A sight for sore eyes!! Big hug & on our way. He put in a hot tub this year. Yay!!!

We mostly had breakfast on balcony at Mon Reve before heading out but had 3 at le crossant royal in Marigot. Pierre is there again from france.
One of my pics I posted earlier from marigot has the tall ship sorlandet in it. I thought it looked like a pirate ship with the sails.

Anybody needing any kind of jewelery repair in philipsburg Manuel is in alley where Juggies is & does great job reasonable (had the chocolate shake & donated to cancer) & in marigot repairs can be done at Pepita just on side street where the pharmacy is & opposite post office. he sells some jewelery as well. Very nice man.
Friars bay has small kalis bar with food & chairs then new 978 beach lounge then friars bay beach cafe. 978 is renting the space from kali & making big improvements. Can't comment on the food as it was new menu & they didn't have most of the items. 😂
The idiot is still feeding the fish on orient bay as are other people. If you go in the water hold hands over your boobs as you will most likely be nipped !! It happened to a lot of people including your truly & it stings! Also sharp pointy rocks all over in the water at club o beach.They can't be avoided.

We saw tons of goats romping near cadisco gas station, cows, horses & egrets on friars bay road & iguanas & a pig near rambaud hill.
FYI they have excellent frozen desserts at petit casino even lemon meringue pie. We didn't want to stop at super u just for dessert.

Ladies looking for really nice clothing cotton check out Oh My Goddess on old street aross from French Touch. Really nice Mother & daughter from canada & daughter has been to Cobourg (small world) lovely jewelry as well. Will post photos of those in another post.

Four lunches at la main a la pate & 1 take away dinner.Ricardo still there. 4 lunches at perch bar & grill ( no longer called perch lite) new staff from 2 years ago.4 dinners at Bistro de la Mer in marigot. Paula & Laurent were delightful & great service & great food.

1 Meal at lolos with friends. Company great food ok service people wished we weren't there. I think it was rib shack. Not a fave with us.

More pics later. The month went by in a hurry I don't know how people stay for less. Busy 2 years doing people's taxes with covid around it took over 2 weeks for us to really relax. So happy & grateful we got there! Stay tuned more to come later.

We have used him many times for both repairs and selling gold we no longer wear. Gives you cash on the spot at a better rate than we could have sold them for in the States.
