Just arrived at SBRM and the beach is very crowded. Things seem busy at Flamingo as well. Ate at LaPatrona last night. Lobster special, 6 oz tail with 2 sides for $28.00. It was okay but nothing special. Has anyone eaten at the Hideaway at LaVista recently? It was a favorite of ours for many years but then it became inconsistent and then poor. We haven’t been in a while. Does anyone have a recent experience?

After a less than stellar experience 4 or so years ago I tried it 2 years ago. It was decent and close to what it was before. I know it appears they are only open for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I can somewhat pinpoint their downfall but will not mention it publicly. They were one of our favorites at one time. Good luck.

Look for the flashing envelope as I sent you a private message.
