Has anyone stayed at ESJ Towers in Isla Verde? My husband and I arrive in San Juan and will spend a couple days exploring and provisioning before heading to the BVI to meet the rest of our family and get on our boat. Saw that ESJ had a full sized fridge which would be good for our stuff.

Not a bad spot, your 5 minutes from the airport and on the beach. It's owned or was owned by the El San Juan hotel next door and guest were able to use all the hotel facilities.

Oh good to know. We have stayed at the El San Juan before and loved their facility. I think they also have a car rental company right there.

Up the block there are a few car rental companies. There is one called Allied Car Rental that most everyone is dissatisfied with their service and claim that they have been overcharged according to the forum on Trip Advisor

I always use Charlie's. Good prices, and multiple drop off locations and shuttles accommodate both airports and the cruise docks.
