We're within 50 hours of touchdown at SXM, and have just received our EHAS pre-approvals.

I can't tell you how much we're looking forward to this trip, as much of the world seems to have gotten back to some sense of normalcy and we're planning to do the same. Even though we were there last June, the 8PM curfew took some of the enjoyment away--not a lot, but enough to be inconvenienced in paradise (a fistful of mosquitos?).

Every year, we have high aspirations--try some new beaches, daytrip to another island, visit new places on the island--yet manage to spend all our beach-time on Petite Plage or GC beach. We'll see. I have no issues staying in the grips of acute sand gravity. It's not nice to resist Mother Nature.

Plus, there seem to be many new restaurants to try, but, Be Cool, is now closed for the summer..

The countdown begins..

Carol, now that I have a super smart phone, I'll try my best to include photos. And I'll try to keep the cat photos to a minimum. even though they are the only reason we go to SXM and GCBC.
