We weren't feeling too adventurous so we toddled down to BBB for dinner. Had the ribs. They were the best I've had on the island so far. Wife opted for a cheeseburger. She is still raving about it. Other couple with us had pizza. It was their first time there. They were very happy. We walked but they took the free shuttle.

Scubaman I'll bet your walk back after dinner passed through a parking garage and out a door to Pele's Market grin

Yep. Right by the SBR ice machines and up the stairs to Peli Deli. Same route going. No hill for us.😁 Sometimes we don't take the stairs and walk by the pool instead. I get enough climbing using the elliptical in the gym every morning and the stairs going up to 3rd floor in building 3 and 5 floors in building 7 even thought there are elevators in 7.

Yes. $15.00 for very meaty ribs and 2 sides. Pretty hard to beat that.

I still remember the coconut shrimp we had there right after they reopened (May 2021). Sitting in lounge chairs feet from the water and being served a scrumptious lunch, paradise. Glad to see they are still putting out good food.

Always a must stop for us, few times during our trip. Good old standby. Never had their pizza but ribs, burgers and hot dogs are very good.

Sounds like the food has gotten a lot better since last October when we were there with our group. It was NOT good!! Burgers/dogs not bad. and not bad is pushing it. IMHO, we always thought of there food as being a go to place for the best burger on the island. The "Pirate pizza" was amazing!! "S&P" wedge was very good too!! Love the location and the people that go there, but we found "The Sand bar" in Beacon hill. Really nice people, food is good, I really liked the "Blue Cheese burger"!!. The foot long dog is very tasty too!! Sushi nights, is good, being a NYc area sushi snob! LOL!!! AND live music a couple nights a week! We love "What the funk" on Saturdays nights!!
