I just remembered when I awoke this morning that I have 2 AA lounge day passes in my AA wallet that are still good. Will make waiting for our 7:37pm flight to Seattle more tolerable. Can't wait to get home. Been a long stressful weekend after a wonderful 4 weeks.

Do you have the leave the hotel at a normal check-out time, like 11 AM?

They gave us a late checkout for 1:00 but we'll just go to airport and wander around in and out of lounge. It is a pretty airport with all the fish art and such. Plenty of time to look. Too much actually.

If it was me, I'd stay at the hotel as long as possible, but at least you have your lounge passes. As expensive as alcohol is in an airport, even if you had to buy the passes, you might have saved money!!

For sure. Last night we each had an appetizer and a glass of wine at the hotel. $60.00 so there went the vouchers. Helps a little. I might ask them for more when I drop off my luggage.

AA started allowing in April of 2021 Business/First passengers that were flying to/from the US to the Caribbean, Canada or Mexico use of the Admirals Lounges. It list on their site as "for a limited time" but I know I had access on my May trip. I have access with my Alaska Airlines lounge membership as well but I did not need to show my Lounge Card on this last trip flying AA in the big seats.

Even though we where bumped out of FC they saw I was originally FC. I was going to use my free one day passes from the Barkley AA card but they told us to save then for another time. Food service in the AA lounge have upped their game or maybe we're just hungry.

I saw that you got bumped after my post, but figured they would have let you knowing you got bumped. I hope you got compensated. The AA lounge in Miami is decent, certainly better than what they have in Charlotte now with the one closed. The Centurion lounge in both Miami and Charlotte are pretty good but they are all getting crowded, I have yet to have to wait to get in but I am hearing about people waiting 30 minutes to be able to enter one of these lounges.

I got in CLT's Admiral's Lounge fine Friday morning around 7 a.m., but it was packed by the time I left (four-hour layover). And since they are both One World, when leaving Portland, I was able to use the Alaska Board Room for free. I had done it before, but the particular desk clerk didn't know anything about it and had to ask someone else. I have used the Admiral's Lounge three times now on trips to SXM: June and October 2021 and last week. It's a really nice perk.
Scuba - I didn't know about the pass with the Barclay card. Is that once a year or . . . ?

Same here in Seattle. No problem last year using Alaska lounge in Seattle but had to insist and talk to another manager to use it with First Class tickets this year. I think it is with Barclay.
