Happy 4th to all. Not looking forward to this evening as we live half mile from all the native American owned fireworks stands/casino that sounds like a war zone for weeks ahead and reaches a peak on the 4th.

Our neighbors had some fireworks last night that I'm pretty sure weren't legal here, but I enjoyed them anyway!! But I can see where you would be apprehensive. Do you do anything special for your animals?

we usually keep them with us in the quietest part of the house which is pretty difficult in the eve because nothing is quiet. Sometimes we drive east of the mountains to our home in the country which is usually quiet. Since my lab i pretty deft at 14 she doesn't hear much of the booming but some are like dynamite and she reacts to those. Might give her a vet prescribed mild antianxiety pill and she'll sleep through it better.
