with no reservations for tonight's dinner, we have day of reporting needing a break from the sun, being a lover of jazz and the wonderful reviews of Rendezvous Lounge's sunday jazz brunch, we had made 1:30 reservations a few days earlier When we arrived the musicians were already jamming with just a few available tables with reserved signs on them we selected a table towards the rear It was obvious that among the 40 so folks, we were the only non residents we have enjoyed dinner several times before and ordered a goat cheese pizza followed by tuna tar tar which is one of our favorites The food did not disappoint but the music was the star of the show
A huge thank you for all that have recommended this day
we recognized several of the musicians and quickly became fans of the others it was interesting to see the drummer switch over to the guitar and then the bass and I'm pretty sure we have seen him before play the keyboards and drums almost at the same time
we hung out for two sets as it was a bit warm without a doubt we will return for sunday Jazz what i also liked was that everyone knew each other and before we left we had mad friends with some others sitting next to us
Glad you enjoyed it. It truly is a melding of some of the best musicians on the island. And we too make new friends everytime we go. We have only been back home a few days and I miss it already.
