They're a great charter company! We chartered with them last year and are going again next month. Well maintained boats and they are easy to communicate with as well.

Going into our 11th charter with them in a few weeks - they are a fantastic group. What boat do you have?

We have chartered with them at least twice. I can't remember for sure as it has been a long time. We were happy with their service. If you are up for a story, here is one from one of our first times chartering in the Caribbean. I grew up on a boat in the Caribbean but had been a landlubber for all of my adult life and this was my husband's first time on a bareboat charter.

We were on a 51ft Beneteau. Our last night, at Cooper, I noticed that the bilge pump seemed to be going on quite frequently. I started the search to see where the leak was coming from and determined that it was salt water. Finally found a slow leak at one of the through hulls in the forward head. Went to tighten it and the entire thing broke off in my hand and water started pouring in the boat. I stuck my finger in the hole, yelled for my husband to bring me a rag and we stuck that in the hole. Of course that didn't really help so I went to get a wooden plugs from the tool box. I attempted to put the wooden plug in the hole but no amount of whittling or pounding would get it to stay in with the pressure of the water. Thank goodness we had a bottle of wine on board! We took the cork and it fit perfectly in the hole without allowing any water to come in. We called the base and they said that it was too late to send anyone out and to get the wooden plug to stay, you had to go overboard to pound it in from the water side of the hull..duh! Well, by this time it was almost midnight and nobody wanted to go in the water after seeing the huge barracudas who hung out under our hull all day. Plus, the cork was holding beautifully. We told the base this and they said if it's working leave it be! Moral of the story is...always have a wine cork on hand when chartering! As far as BVI Yacht Charters, they did respond quickly to our calls even though they didn't come out to help right away.

Those corks are put to good use in the BVI - we once rented a dinghy for the day when land based on JVD - boat plug was a champagne cork -did the job! Cheers!
