Does anyone know? The main desk at the BEYC had two slightly larger than lifesize sculptures in wood that were beautiful pieces of art. They were/are semi-nude women and the carving was superb. That was before Irma. Were they saved or lost in the hurricane. Thanks in advance for any information you might have.

I saw a few of the wood carvings on our last visit, but they were animals. I'm still in the hope that more of the carvings are in a shed somewhere awaiting restoration.

We were just there and i was wondering the same thing. Let’s hope they are afloat somewhere enjoying retirement.
