I hoarded an apple from our picnic stop and further up the road we ran into donkeys. I got out of the car and was overrun. Alas, Hubby was laughing so hard he forgot to take a photo. Reminds me of a vacation in Aruba, where they have a donkey sanctuary that cares for donkeys that are no longer needed to pull carts and do other work. They try to spay and neuter as many as possible. Prior to the sanctuary opening, the critters were breeding at an alarming rate, wandering loose and often being injured in traffic. Nice to see people are looking out for these animals.

The donkeys have been photographed getting it on....lol. Let's hope that they don't become prolific breeders. "It is good to do nothing all day, and then to rest"

They can be a bit destructive though - they walked through one of the beach bars and knocked over several bottles and some glassware. The staff seemed to take it in stride so I suspect it may have happened before! That's why I wander and follow La Vie Dansante, that's all I want, La Vie Dansante (JB)
