No problem. I think maybe you are excited, which I can relate to.

You will want for nothing!! After staying at BSV, you will never stay any other place on the Dutch side!! If you need anything while on property, Emmanuel will be right there! He is head of maintenance. Vikki is the engineer and manager. Then there are the housekeeping ladies. They are so wonderful!! We always leave a nice envelope for our girl!!! The gate code changes from time to time, you'll need that to enter the property and the beach entrance to the pool!! Enjoy the observation deck with a complimentary beverage while watching the planes take off and land right in front of you! It's very exciting! Enjoy a dip in the pool while relaxing to the sounds of the ocean in front of you!! Have a great time!!

Great to hear about the security and good parking, we were wondering about that. The observation deck and pool are nice bonuses.

We are looking forward to making some good breakfasts and dinners in the villa rather than driving, eating and drinking out all the time. To be honest on our last trip in January, we were disappointed in the food and prices at many restaurants. The best experiences we had were at Vesna Taverna, Bamboo House (Thursday Jazz Night) and the Sint Martin yacht club.

Thanks Again for all the good info!

It’s somewhat embarrassing to admit, but staying at BSV there are days we never leave the property. Breakfast on our porch watching the waves, lunching on sandwiches from whatever’s in the fridge but enjoying them out at the pool, afternoon naps on the porch or on the sand below it and then dinner reheats from various meals out or from scratch on the Barbie. It really is the best!😊😊

Respectfully,

pat

Jim and Laraine--I read five books on our recent stay. smile There is a lending library of books by the office at BSV, so if you have a mind to try it out while there, just go down and see if anything tickles your fancy.

I hope you love it as much as we do. I believe we've stayed at BSV about 15 times now and when staying on the Dutch side we wouldn't stay any where else.

Okay, we have been staying here the longest of anyone who has posted so far
and everything they say is true. LOL banana

We do venture off the property and go to other beaches we love and out to eat of course, but
enjoy the days we don't.

if you ever have a health issue, it is a perfect place to be---everything you need is there and you
are able to enjoy the beach, deck, planes, ships and space . You are not stuck inside.

You will also have the best staff , who are always a pleasure to talk with.

Luckily, we are good with health and mobility. We usually venture out in the car most days but we're hoping to make it not every day on this trip.

And having had El Zafiro right next door made that so easy to do. I’m hoping a new dining spot will open there before our next trip.

And on another note, I’ve often wondered why a named restaurant doesn’t relocate there since the facilities are pretty good and the parking is more than adequate. It’s a little out of the way but not horribly so. Wishful thinking I guess.

pat

We ate there once for breakfast, horrible! But loved having a cocktail or two was fun! I even contacted Bruno Lemonie asking him to take over the restaurant!! He's out of the restaurant business, he said to me. Everything he touched turned to gold! We loved Dreams!!!
