We are scheduled for SXM from November 2024 through December 2024. Our passports were to expire in January 2025 so we went ahead and renewed them now. We had heard that there was a real problem with delays in getting passports renewed so we were expecting the worst. We sent the renewal in on December 28th using priority mail at the USPS, so we could track the envelope. We both sent our renewals in the same envelope and sent the standard processing fee of $130 per passport. We were surprised to receive our new passports on January 15th. Things must be getting better at the passport office.

I have known several people to have turnarounds of 3-4 weeks.
