BVI ferry back to STT > MIA. Do I have to clear customs again in Miami? (senile dementia moment)

Is 1.5 hrs connection time sufficient in Miami?

thx

You have to clear customs getting off the ferry from the BVI, and again before you get on the plane in STT. Shouldn't need to do it again in Miami.

Have fun!

As far as connection time, if your inbound flight is on time, you should be OK. Apparently the Skytrain is finally back operating.

All righty then: If I return the Mooring's boat to base on a Saturday morning (during high season) > there is a ~ 5:30 pm flight from STT to Mia (currently much cheaper than EIS to Mia). There's a 11:00 am Ferry from Roadtown to STT (~2:00 pm one seems a little precarious time wise). How early would I need to be at Roadtown Ferry location? Drop the boat off at Mooring's at 08:30?

thx

Good to get to the Road Town Ferry an hour before departure. 30min probably okay

I do the Moorings to the 11:00 ferry all the time. Set your cab pickup for 9:45. Once you arrive in STT stow your bags at the customs exit and walk into town for a nice lunch. We like the green house. Shop a bit and be back about 2:30 to head to the airport. As an alternative you can have the cab drop you at the Emerald Beach resort and enjoy lunch there. Arrange the pickup for 2:45 if you go that route. I use Stanley from Love cab and he handles our bags throughout either option so painless.
