Prices in June when we are going are higher, but just saw $345 roundtrip from Miami to SXM in May. Anyone wanting to sneak in another trip soon might want to check it out!

I am flying to SXM in May. I paid $991.00 pp., RT, from Cincinnati, American Airlines. Through Charlotte.

Cincinnati--what type of seat did you book? If you booked main cabin, you may be able to cancel and re-book and get back airline credit.

I booked economy, 20-25 row. I am satisfied with what I have. Once I booked over Thanksgiving at about $2000.00 per person. Won't do that again ! But thank you for your suggestion.

In future, you may want to look at Main Cabin. It does give you an assigned seat for free, plus --as of now anyway--you can cancel and get a travel credit back. Look at the options all the way down the screen to see whether that applies to the fare you are booking or not. We did that for our trip in June and got $57 back PP. It only works of course if you will use the travel credit, but I think you have up to a year to use it.
